Bing Lee thieves flee with $50k worth of goods

AN estimated $50,000 worth of camera equipment was stolen from the Bing Lee store in Fyshwick on Monday.

Police say at around 10.25pm, two offenders broke into the store on Barrier Street through the roof of the building, and entered a secure room which had cameras and other equipment.

CCTV footage showed the two offenders leaving the scene in a white van with approximately $50,000 worth of camera equipment.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity near the Bing Lee store in Fyshwick on Monday night should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
