POLICE have released images of  man sought in connection with a burglary at a house in Ngunnawal last week.

At about 8.45am, Tuesday, July 3,  a man entered the house through a sliding door and stole some household items.

He was wearing a high-visibility orange jumper, a dark-coloured baseball cap and dark scarf with a white printed pattern covering his nose and mouth. He was also wearing dark gloves and long,  dark trousers with knee pads.

investigator Constable Morgwn Saunders said the burglary in Ngunnawal was a timely reminder that people should not always assume that all burglaries occur with offender’s wearing hoodies and baseball caps.

“In this case the male offender was wearing clothing that resembled that of a trade person,” she said.

Anyone able to assist with the investigation should contact 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
