Champagne music at The Front

Daniel Champagne
AUSTRALIAN singer-songwriter and guitarist Daniel Champagne ranges over folk, blues, classical and jazz.

He has released a full length album and three EPs, performed hundreds of shows both at home and internationally, and is a familiar face at BluesFest, Port Fairy and Woodford.

Champagne has recently signed to US and Australian booking agency Fleming Artists and will be here this week with two shows at The Front Café and Gallery.

With a guitar-playing father as an example, he took up the instrument at age four and started to write his own songs at 12. His dad also wrote songs.

No surprise then, that his guitar abilities are now praised as making him sound “more like a three-piece band than a solo performer, pushing the instrument to beyond its boundaries”.

Daniel Champagne, at The Front Café and Gallery on Thursday and Friday, June 14 and 15.
