Christine heads to comedy finals

CHRISTINE Ryan will represent the ACT in Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s RAW Comedy competition.

Christine beat 14 other ACT stand-up hopefuls and will go on to the finals at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April. The winner will go on to compete in “So You Think Your Funny?” at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Past winners of RAW Comedy include; Chris Lilley, Josh Thomas, Hannah Gadsby, Peter Helliar, Claire Hooper, Mike McLeish and Tim Minchin.

The Canberra heat was Christine’s first go at stand-up comedy.
