Dragged from bed and battered

A 25-year-old Richardson man is receiving medical treatment after three men allegedly broke into his home and assaulted him earlier this morning.

Just after 2 am, the man was woken by three men pulling him out of bed and hitting him repeatedly with baseball bats.

The man was then bound with cable ties and tape as the three men stole a television, mobile phone and the man’s car, which was later located burnt out in Rohan Street, Richardson.

The victim received a fractured hand and possibly has a fractured skull, along with some minor injuries.

Anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
