A PLEASANT 23C top has been forecast for Christmas Day in the Capital this year.
Early weather reports are tipping a mostly sunny, mild day with a 9C minimum and 23C maximum, but meteorologists say the long-range forecast could change closer to the date.
Carollers’ plans for Christmas Eve are looking good: A warm, partly cloudy night is expected to see a top temperature of around 29C and an overnight low of 11.
The Bureau of Meteorology is expected to release updated weather details early next week.
