Goulburn gets the blues, again!

US blues musician Eugene “Hideaway” Bridges will headline Goulburn’s 2012 Australian Blues Music Festival that starts on February 9.

The annual music festival will feature more than 50 free-entry performances as well as ticketed events to see Bridges’ show and Chase the Sun with Claude Hay. The festival will also include the announcement of Australian Blues Music Award winners plus markets in the park on the Saturday and Sunday.

A Buskers Competition will run on Friday and Saturday with the winner offered a paid spot on the following year’s festival.

Other music acts to perform include:  Hat Fitz and Cara Robinson; guitar slinger P.J. O’Brien; Victorian acts Dream Boogie, Shaun Kirk and Diana Wolfe & the Black Sheep; Western Australians The Resonators; Tabasco Tom and Doc White; Dan Hannaford; and Rory Ellis.
