Hall band strikes up

THE famous  Hall Village Brass Band is giving a free concert at its birthplace on Sunday March 25.

The band’s fourth annual Twilight Concert, “A Little Twilight Music”, will include popular songs, jazz classics, marches, contemporary, show songs and art music, and will feature soloist Bronwyn Douglass.

Patrons are invited to bring a rug or a folding chair, a snack and a drink, and relax and enjoy the music.

Proceeds from a gold coin donation will go to the Hall School Museum, which will be open from 3.30 pm and Hall Preschool will be selling drinks and barbecue.

At Hall Primary  School,Victoria Street, 5pm, Sunday, March 25.
