INTENSIVE care paramedics were called to Mount Stromlo this afternoon to help a mountain bike rider with a fractured leg about 400 metres from a marked trail.
Paramedics and firefighters reached the man on the Skyline Mountain Bike trail using two specialist off-road four-wheel-drive vehicles to access the area to move the patient from Mt Stromlo to the hospital.
An emergency services spokesman was unable to provide any further details about the man or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
