Lovers of song perform at Wesley

SOPRANO Alexandra Dalman and pianist Kylie Loveland will perform in Wesley Music Centre’s state-of-the-art concert facility tomorrow with associate artists, Natalie Dickman, soprano and Nikolai Morozow, baritone.

While the serious side of the program will feature works by Handel, Mozart, Bizet, Offenbach and Puccini, there will also be lighter moments, with favourites by Rodgers & Hammerstein and Lloyd-Webber.

Dalman (no relation to the famous dancer Elizabeth Dalman, though they have collaborated) studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music completing her undergraduate studies in 2005, before going on to study at the Conservatorium’s Opera School and now undertaking a Master of Music at ANU School of Music.

For over 10 years, Loveland has been accompanying choirs and singers throughout Canberraand the surrounding regions while also teaching piano at Canberra Girls’ Grammar School and St Clare’s College and with the ANU Shoolof Music pre-tertiary program.

“Lovers of Song,” at Wesley Music Centre, “Lunchtime Live’ series, 20 National Circuit, Forrest, 12.40pm to 1.20pm, November 7. $2 or paper note entry. No bookings required.
