O’Malley house in flames

FIRE investigators have ruled as accidental, the cause of a $200,000 house blaze that extensively damaged two rooms of a large, two-level house in O’Malley early this morning.

Three fire pumpers and the Bronto aerial appliance from ACT Fire and Rescue rushed to the property on Cobbadah Street after being alerted at 3.15am to find the property fully engulfed in flames.

The roof at the rear of the property collapsed in the fire.

A man was assessed by the ACT Ambulance Service and transported to The Canberra Hospital with minor burns.
