Passing the baton for the Cancer Council

MANY Canberrans will strap on their runners this Saturday to take part in the 24-hour-long Relay For Life to raise funds for the Cancer Council ACT.

The Canberra Liberals, are just one of the teams to take part in the event at the AIS track on Saturday from 12pm.

“Relay For Life is an important fundraiser for Cancer Council ACT which helps support cancer research, education, support services and advocacy in the ACT,” Liberals health spokesperson and team leader Jeremy Hanson said.

“Cancer affects so many people in the Canberra community and Relay For Life is a chance to support this very important charity, while remembering loved ones lost.”
