Police seek witnesses to egg farm burglary

POLICE are looking for witnesses to an aggravated burglary at an egg farm in Macgregor over night that caused serious damage to the farm’s production equipment.

Police believe the Parkwood Egg Farm was broken into about 11pm and 6am, which caused damage including smashed glass in the office area cut conveyor belts, water damage to egg packaging and smashed control equipment.

Police are also investigating the posting of an internet message and video that claims responsibility for the offence.

Witnesses are urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
