Police seek witnesses to store robbery

THE 5-Star Supermarket in Theodore was robbed last night by an armed man.

About 6.45pm the man entered the supermarket on Lawrence Wackett Crescent, and threatened the store attendant with a weapon.

The offender took cash, and ran out of the supermarket and into a car described as a dark coloured, possibly blue or black, new model car similiar to a Honda Accord.

The car drove off along Lawrence Wackett Crescent towards Tharwa Drive.

The offender is described as having tanned skin, with a medium build and about 165cm to 170cm (5’5” to 5’ 7”) tall. He was wearing a black hoodie, with the hood pulled over his head and white gloves.
