HERE’S a hot tip from “CityNews”. If you like ceramics, you should get along to the Canberra Potters’ Society 2012 Open Day at Watson Arts Centre on Sunday.

This is a great opportunity to see potters in action and to join in too, as visitors are encouraged to have a go at hand-building and wheel-throwing.

Local potters have been firing up their creativity and kilns to present an exciting range of unique, handcrafted ceramics for the Winter Pottery Fair—and that’s the hot tip—you can pick up a finely craft pot for very little outlay.

There’ll be children’s clay activities as well and for the adults, Coffee’s On will be selling coffee and tea and for local and visiting potters,
