A 17-year-old Ainslie juvenile was charged with burglary after police searched a home in Lyneham yesterday.
Police will allege that between 8.15am and 5.10pm on Monday, March 5, the youth stole items from a home in Downer.
Detectives seized several items from the search in Lyneham, believed to be linked to at least four other burglaries. Police said the value of the items is about $20,000.
The youth was charged with burglary and theft. Police expect to lay further charges in relation to items seized in the Lyneham search.
The young person will face the ACT Children’s Court this morning where bail will be opposed by police.
