TEN records worst ratings all year

CHANNEL TEN has sunk to its worst ratings this year, with the network’s new reality/dance show “Everybody Dance Now” drawing in fewer than 14,000 viewers in Canberra on Sunday night.

The much-hyped show earned the wooden spoon in the week’s top 100 programs.

TEN’s “Masterchef Australia Allstars” didn’t fare much better, with the best episode drawing fewer than 30,000 viewers and others less than half that number.

Meanwhile, WIN’s new series of “Big Brother” and “Underbelly: Badness” flew to the top of the ratings nationally, but in Canberra the crime series failed to draw big audiences, coming in at No. 34 with around 26,000 viewers.

“Big Brother” did better, but the top spots in the territory were taken by Prime’s Sunday Night and the ABC’s “Dream Build” – a 15 minute program about Australian home design, tacked on to the end of the popular Grand Designs.

Share figures show WIN in the ratings lead with the ABC a strong second.
