THE site of a new full-line supermarket in Dickson has been released for sale by the ACT Government.
The new supermarket will be located at the corner of Antill Street and Badham Street, currently a car park next to Woolworths.
The development will also include an Aldi supermarket, an underground car park and residential apartments above the shops.
In a statement today, Minister for Economic Development Andrew Barr said people have long complained about the lack of competition in Dickson, and that a second full-line supermarket plus an Aldi will offer shoppers more choice.
Currently Woolworths is the only full-line supermarket in Dickson.
