Woman attacked in courtyard

Share Canberra's trusted news:

A WOMAN was last night attacked in the courtyard of her home in Kingston. About 10.15pm, the 30-year-old woman had walked into her courtyard, which backs onto Eyre Street, when she was confronted by two men.

One of the men assaulted the woman and then both men jumped the courtyard fence and fled. Police said it’s uncertain which direction the men fled.

The woman suffered neck injuries from the attack.

Anyone who may have seen the two men, one of whom was wearing a light-coloured top, on Eyre Street, Kingston around the time of the incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
