CANBERRA bands looking for a chance to play on the World Stage now have a chance to take part in the Global Battle of the Bands, an international event with over 30 countries involved, a first prize worth US$100,000 and the title of “Best New Band in the World”.
The Canberra heats will be conducted on Saturday, July 20 at the Hellenic Club in Civic, and bands wanting to take part need to contact organisers ASAP by emailing redletter@bigpond.com or calling 02 9519 3978.
Canberra heats of The Global Battle of the Bands, Hellenic Club, 13 Moore Street, Canberra City, 8pm, Saturday, July 20, tickets $10 at the door.
