Canberra TV producer makes it onto Foxtel

CANBERRA actor and TV presenter, Kristian Mynott, has really taken off.

He’s the TV Producer for the “Summer Series” of Insideoutxs.TV- Gay and Lesbian Lifestyle Channel, running for 7 more weeks every Thursday night at 8pm via Foxtel on the Aurora Channel 183.

Mynott started out last year as co-host for the channel of the 2012 Mardi Gras with David Graham from “Big Brother” before retraining in production. Soon, he says, he’s going to study at film and television school as a TV producer and declare himself “very excited.”

Inside Out TV, Australia’s only dedicated online gay and lesbian video entertainment channel, covers all Sydney’s gay events, but Citynews  has found by accessing the channel on  YouTube that Mynott has been reporting  on Canberra events too, such as DiversityACT’s Canberra Launch in September last year.

He’s a lively, dramatic reporter who’s already made himself very knowledgeable in the theatre  media industries and still keeps  up a profile as an actor, filming for “Winners and Losers” before Christmas.

In one sense, all the hard work’s paid off. Insideoutxs.TV  first went  to air last night, and during its 8 week season he’s doing  a special 35th anniversary Mardi Gras KiKi broadcast from Sydney on March 2, with a lineup of special guests like Brynne Edlesten and  Gay Olympians Ji Wallace, Matthew Mitcham and Natalie Cook and more “hot celebrities.”

You can be sure Mynott will be there to tell us all about it – he has no intention of giving  up his role as a TV presenter.

Insideoutxs.TV “Summer Series,” on Aurora Channel 183, Foxtel, 8pm weekly until April 4.
