Themed around the Centenary, the exhibition will be based on what students up to Year 6 love about Canberra, expressed in a variety of media—painting, drawing, sculpture and fabric, with a total of around 70 individual artworks on show.

The Art Exhibition, to be held in the CGGS Junior School Hall on Grey St, Deakin, will be officially opened by Adriane Boag from the National Gallery of Australia from  6.30-8.30pm on August 29. The exhibition continues on Friday, August 30 from 9-4pm and Saturday, August 31, from 10-2pm.

Entry is by gold coin donation with all proceeds to go to the Hands On Studio, the inspiring organisation operating out of M16 Artspace that provides opportunities to local artists with a disability to express themselves artistically and engage socially.
