MOTORISTS have been urged to avoid Gungahlin Drive this afternoon, with delays expected as Roads ACT finalises road surfacing repairs.
The repairs will be on a short section of the northbound lanes on the Gungahlin Drive Extension just past the bridge over the Barton Highway.
Two of the three northbound lanes will be closed to traffic until about 4.30 pm.
According to Roads ACT the works were originally scheduled to finish at 4pm but have taken longer than expected.
