Fashion challenge takes on Guinness

CANBERRANS are invited to be part of fashion history when Westfield shopping centres in Belconnen and Woden attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the most fashion makeovers in 24 hours on Friday and Saturday.

The two centres are aiming to achieve 721 complete makeovers to beat the current world record of  720. For the makeovers to qualify, each participant must be styled into a completely new outfit including shoes and accessories by a Westfield stylist. As a bonus, each participant will also have the opportunity to have their hair and make-up done to complement their new on-trend look.

Anyone looking to be part of this event can pre-register their interest via the Westfield Belconnen or Woden Facebook pages or visit either centre on the day. Participants can be male or female, 18 years and older.

It takes place Friday, October 18, at Westfield Belconnen (2pm-9pm) and Saturday, October 19 at Westfield Woden (9am-2pm).

All participants will receive a free Westfield gift bag and every 100th person to pre-register online will receive a $100 Westfield Gift Card. Retailer prizes will also be awarded throughout both events.

More information or to register at either facebook.com/WestfieldWoden or facebook.com/WestfieldBelconnen
