Fire in high school dark room

A BLAZE sparked by an electrical fault in a high school photographic dark room was extinguished by firefighters last night.

Crews were alerted to the blaze at Stromlo High on Badimarra Street, Waramanga, via an automatic fire alarm at 10:30pm, containing the fire to the photographic dark room on the premises and extinguishing it before causing any serious damage.

The fire is believed to have been started by an electrical fault.
