Good samaritan sought after alleged Kambah assault

Police want to speak with a good samaritan who helped a man after he was allegedly assaulted in Kambah last week.

The victim was assaulted in a blocked off car park on Kambah Pool Road on Friday afternoon. He suffered facial injuries and had several items stolen.

After the incident, the victim was spotted by the member of the public who drove him to the Emergency Department of The Canberra Hospital.

Police would like to speak to the person who drove the victim to the hospital and are urging the ‘good Samaritan’ to contact police on 131-444.

Anyone who may have witnessed the assault or saw a dark vehicle in the blocked off car park on Kambah Pool Road should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
