Graffiti vandals target Belconnen

POLICE are searching for four men believed to be behind a spate of graffiti in the Belconnen town centre overnight, which caused an estimated $10,000 in damage.

Businesses on Cohen Street, Chan Street, Rae Street, Bayles Street, Josephson Street, Weedon Close, Purdue Street, Walder Street, Wales Street and Emu Bank were targeted.

Police say CCTV has been obtained from several businesses showing four males spraying the graffiti.

Anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or can assist police in their investigation should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or viaact.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Any businesses with graffiti damage in the Belconnen area should report the incident to ACT Policing Operations on 131-444.
