POLICE arrested a 32-year-old Wanniassa man in Dickson yesterday in connection with a burglary in April, in which guns and ammunition were stolen.
After the man’s arrest, detectives from the Crime Targeting Team executed search warrants on several homes and seized drugs as well as the stolen property from the April burglary, including guns, ammunition and gun parts.
Police say the arrest resulted from an investigation of the man’s criminal activities that involved members from Criminal Investigations, Woden Police Station and ACT Intelligence.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with burglary and theft. Police will oppose bail.
