Mossop appointed to Supreme Court

MAGISTRATE David Mossop has been appointed master of the Supreme Court of the ACT.

Mr Mossop was a barrister in private practice for 14 years, before being appointed to the Magistrate’s Court in late 2011.

During his career as a barrister, his areas of practice included constitutional law, commercial law, administrative law, tenancy law, corporations law, and human rights and discrimination law.

Mr Mossop will succeed the retiring David Harper, who has been master for more than 10 years, on May 22.
