Police spot drugs, ammunition in ‘plain view’

A MAN was arrested early this morning and charged with several offences after police spotted him sitting in a car with ammunition and drug paraphrenalia.

PPolice-afp-cops-9720-400x266olice say the man was seen by officers sitting in a vehicle with a woman in the Dickson Tradies carpark at 1.15am, with the illegal items “in plain view”.

The officers seized the items along with what they suspected to be heroin, methylamphetamine and stolen property that was found in the vehicle.

The 32-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was scheduled to face ACT Magistrates Court today charged with possession of illegal addictive drugs, stolen property and unlicensed ammunition, as well as drug trafficking and breaching bail conditions.
