Police seize guns in Bonython

Police-car-0574-175x175POLICE have seized two guns from a house in Bonython after a disturbance early on Sunday morning.

Around 2.15am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a house in Hocking Place, Bonython, to find two teenagers, aged 17 and 18, cable-tied and suffering from injuries having being struck with a baseball bat and having a rifle pointed in their direction.

Both teenagers were conveyed to hospital as a result of their injuries.

During a search of the house, the police officers found the two firearms. Two men, aged 48 and 18 are assisting with enquiries.

Witnesses to the disturbance are urged to call 1800 333000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
