Snapper BRENT McDONALD was at a preview of “Hit the floor together”, a collaboration between young people in Quantum Leap youth dance ensemble, visiting dancers from Kurruru Youth Performing Arts and NAISDA Dance College. Together, the 45-strong cast have worked with three of Australia’s hottest young choreographers and QL2 Dance artistic director to create a full-length dance work about identity, racial heritage, indigenous culture, and connection to the Australian landscape.
It’s at The Playhouse until August 3.
