TOMORROW “The ’93 Project” is playing as part of Jazz at the Loft in Dickson.
The “Project” features some of Canberra’s top younger musicians and plays Australian guitarist Jack Ray’s original compositions.
Ray is well-known as a player in Canberra bands Los Chavos, The Monotremes and Dollface. He has performed and recorded with musicians such as Angus and Julia Stone, Jonathan Zwartz, Mike Price, Jim Elliot and Amanda Brown.
The brainchild of jazz pianist, Luke Sweeting, the series in the increasingly popular venue is actually the staffroom upstairs at the Majura Medical Centre in Dickson.
Tomorrow’s concert will feature Ray on guitar, Tate Sheridan on piano, Phill Jenkins on bass and Rhys Lintern on drums.
