A FORUM tomorrow at the ACT Legislative Assembly will address how support can be provided to older people whose lives are affected by alcohol and drugs.
The discussion will feature presentations by Dr Lynda Berends from Monash University’s Turning Point Alcohol and Drug Centre and Simon Ruth, the director of complex services at Peninsula Health in Victoria.
The Member for Ginninderra, Mary Porter MLA, will host the event in conjunction with Karralika Programs Inc, which provides alcohol and drug rehabilitation services in the ACT.
The forum will be held in the Reception Room at the ACT Legislative Assembly from 8.30 to 1pm tomorrow.
