Teenagers rob good Samaritan

Police are trying to track down a group of three teenage boys who allegedly harassed two men in Dickson last night, robbing one of them.

A 33-year-old man told police he saw three people he estimated to be teenagers, harassing another man up ahead of him on the path as he walked home to Hackett from the Dickson Shops at about 9.45pm.

The three juveniles then approached the man, threatened him several times and pushed him in the chest, before leaving the scene with a small amount of his cash.

The first offender was described as approximately 13 years of age with light skin, crooked teeth and short, brown curly hair. He was wearing a grey jumper and had a backpack.

The second boy was described as about 15 or 16 years of age, around 168cm tall with light brown skin and a “chubby face”.

The third was described as about 15 or 16 years of age and about 165cm tall, with dark skin and curly, black hair. He was also holding a stick in his hand.

Police would like to speak to a jogger who may have been in the area during the incident as well as the person who was first harassed by the juveniles.

Anyone who was in Dickson last night and may be able to assist police with their investigation can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or by going to act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
