CANBERRA has recorded its hottest ever start to spring, with the temperature reaching 25.2 degrees yesterday.
The warm start breaks the previous record (of September 13, 2008 and 2009) by more than 10 days.
The good weather is expected to continue throughout the week, reaching 22 and 23 degrees on Wednesday and Thursday with sunny skies, before light showers on Friday and Saturday.
Last week, Canberra also recorded its warmest winter yet.
