A 30-year-old woman has been charged with assault after allegedly biting a man’s ear lobe off at a party in Harrison early this morning.
Police were called at about 4.15am today following reports that a 32-year-old man had sustained facial and ear injuries as a result of the assault. The man was taken to hospital.
Police arrested the woman a short distance from the party. During a search of her belongings, police found a knife and a small quantity of cannabis.
The woman was charged with possessing a knife without reasonable excuse, common assault and intentionally inflicting grievous bodily harm.
She is expected to face the ACT Magistrates Court tomorrow.
