Dementia patient goes missing

POLICE are asking for the public’s help to find an 85-year old woman with dementia who went missing from Canberra Hospital this morning. 

Thelma Jamieson was last seen wearing a blue dressing gown and purple slippers around 7.30am at the hospital in Garran.  She walks with the assistance of a wheelie frame.

Anyone who may have seen Thelma or knows her whereabouts can contact Police Operations on 131 444.

UPDATE, 12.20pm: Thelma has been found safe and well.
