MORE ACT firefighters will help control a large bushfire near Cooma in the fourth ACT deployment since the blaze began on Friday last week.
The Cooma fire was first reported on Friday afternoon, and has burnt more than 2000 hectares in the last week.
The three day deployment for the 14 firefighters from the ACT Rural Fire Service, made up of volunteers and personnel from the Parks Brigade, will replace the strike team that left on Monday morning.
