Arson suspected in Yarralumla

ACT Policing Criminal Investigation detectives are investigating a suspicious house fire that occurred in Yarralumla yesterday (October 28).
Around 5:30am yesterday, police responded to a report of a fire at the Yarralumla property.

The fire was quickly extinguished and deemed suspicious by ACT Fire and Rescue.

Preliminary investigations by AFP Forensic Services suggest the fire may have been deliberately lit using some form of accelerant.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information on the cause of the fire or saw suspicious activity around Loch Street, Yarralumla to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or provide information via the website act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information may be provided anonymously.
