Monday April 28, 4.00pm to 5.00pm

While the recent proliferation of digital photography competitions brings a host of opportunities for photographers to raise their profiles and potentially be rewarded, rights and ownership of images can become issues. Find out more about more about the ins and outs of this area of the law as well as other emerging legal issues facing photographers.

Artform in Focus – Literature / Writing / Self-Publishing

Small press houses and self-publishing are on the rise – who needs a big publishing company when you’ve got effective networks and the internet? Learn more about your literary rights and responsibilities, especially when you’re ‘doing it yourself.’

Tuesday 29 April 2014, 3.30pm to 4.30pm

Arts Law is constantly giving advice on copyright and contracts. Learn more about the nuts and bolts, commissioning agreements, licensing, as well as prizes and competitions. Find out why you should register your gallery relationships under the Personal Property Securities Act or else potentially lose your work.
