YOUR eyes do not deceive you, that’s the AFC Asian Cup and ICC Cricket World Cup here on the shores of Lake Burley Griffin.

Andrew Barr was joined by Cricket ACT Chairman Ian McNamee and Capital Football CEO Heather Reid at a media event today to promote Canberra’s involvement in both global sporting events next year.

Today’s event was also intended to drum up interest among potential volunteers.
