ACT Policing arrested a 38-year-old Phillip man yesterday (October 15) for drug importation.
In July the AFP was alerted to several packages, containing border-controlled drugs, addressed to a residence in Phillip that had been intercepted by Customs.
Yesterday, the Criminal Investigations, Drugs and Organised Crime squad searched a Phillip residence under warrant, seizing drugs suspected to be Gammabutyrolacetone (GBL), methylamphetamine, cash and documents relating to the purchase of GBL online.
The 38-year-old Phillip man was arrested and charged with importing a border-controlled drug. He will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning.
