Brown water warning for Molonglo

glass of water

ACTEW Water will be undertaking work in Coombs on tomorrow which may result in temporary discolouration of water in the Molonglo area.

ACTEW Water advises that any discolouration will clear with normal use. If residents experience ongoing discolouration beyond Friday 23 October 2014 they should contact the ACTEW Water Faults team on 6248 3111.

Residents are advised not to use washing machines and dishwashers during this period of possible water discolouration, as it may stain clothing or clog filters. ACTEW Water does not recommend drinking water that appears, smells or tastes objectionable.

ACTEW Water would like to take this opportunity to apologise to our customers in the Molonglo area for any short term inconvenience this important work may cause.
