BELCONNEN Arts Centre is calling for applications to use the Centre’s Gallery, Outdoor Gallery, Foyer and Arts Lounge for exhibitions in 2015.
You might think that it’s a long way ahead to book, but the centre has, since its opening in 2009, become one of the popular exhibiting venues in Canberra – popular with both the public and the critics.
The Centre, staff say, prides itself on presenting exhibitions which embrace themes, subjects and ideas of importance to the ACT community, with the emphasis on policing a balance of artistic expression in the exhibition spaces during the year.
This means that BAC encourages applications for both solo and group shows, by community-based groups, by emerging artists and by professional and established artists in all visual arts media.
Exhibitions of 4 weeks or more are particularly encouraged.
Applications close at 5 PM on Monday, March 31. For more information and specifications visit belconnenartscentre.com.au
