joy burch

JOY Burch has congratulated Canberra Girls Grammar School Early Learning Centre for becoming the first service in the ACT to be awarded an ‘Excellent’ rating by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).

“The rating acknowledges the commitment shown by management and staff of this Centre to continuous improvement in delivering the best education and care for their children, and I congratulate Canberra Girls Grammar for this achievement,” Joy said.

“The ACT Government is committed to supporting our education and care sector.

“We have a range of strategies in place to help the sector build capacity, continue to improve the quality and increase the number of children who benefit from early childhood education and care.

“We also recognise the importance of helping early childhood educators meet the skills and qualifications requirements under the National Quality Framework, which is why we have scholarship programs for both Certificate III and degree students in early childhood education.”
