Controlled burn along Ginninderra Creek

controlled burn

ACT Parks and Conservation Service is advising the public that, weather permitting, a controlled burn will be conducted tomorrow, Thursday 17 December 2014.

The burn will occur on two small plots adjacent to Croke Place and William Webb Drive, near Ginninderra Creek. The aim of the project is to confirm that mowing and burning management programs are effective in the Ginninderra Creek corridor for successful reseeding and native grassland expansion.
