ALL cyclists will feel their blood run cold reading the judgment in the matter of
Franklin v Blick.
Justice Burns has found that David Blick failed to keep “any proper lookout”, which lead to his friend Michael Franklin being run over by a car on Capital Circle. Blick will have to pay $1,659,392.75 in damages, plus costs.
It is worth noting that Pedal Power do sell
insurance for cyclists.
