According to the founder of the awards, Coralie Wood, this was a particularly strong year for non-professional theatre throughout the wider Canberra region.

The nominations, nearly 250 of them this year for awards in 42 separate sections, extend well outside the ACT as far as Orange, Batemans Bay, Molong and south to Albury.

The winner of the top ACTEWAGL Gold Cat Award will be announced at the gala awards night to be held in Llewellyn hall on February 21 2015, bookings to ticktek.com.au
