Facefit of suspected Banks burglar

ACT Policing is seeking to identify a man involved in the burglary of a Banks home on July 30 and have released a face-fit of the offender.

About 1.40pm, a resident of the Banks home in Bellchamber Crescent disturbed the offender inside their house. When the offender saw the resident, he immediately fled.

Witnesses in the area saw a man matching the description of the offender running in the area of Hall Place, Banks.

The man is described as being in his late teens or early 20s, of Caucasian appearance, 175cm to 178cm (5’9” to 5’10”) tall and of stocky build.

He was wearing a royal blue ‘hoodie’ jumper and dark track pants.

Police are seeking to identify the male and urge could identify him or assist police in their investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
